About Williams Hardware

The hardware shop owned by the Williams family first opened its door at 9.30 in the morning on January 15th, 1950. Previously it had been a post office with a solicitor’s office upstairs.

The original owners were Colston Mervyn Williams from Bristol and his wife Johanna Williams from Kilbaha and it has been in the family ever since.

 

Since then the shop has been expanded four times to its present size as the range of products sold has increased over time.

Originally called C.M. Williams and Sons it was incorporated as Williams (Kilkee) Ltd in 1980. Williams Hardware is now a proud member of the

Expert Hardware group.
